Speculative but somewhat convincing. Ancient people weren’t stupid, and they were able to live everywhere and build sometimes stunning devices and buildings. And they were certainly sea-going. Long before Vespucci, da Gama, or Columbus, ancient peoples were busily sailing to and fro about the earth.
