Some great old photos & footage of the Beats as the original bad boys they were in the 50's & 60's...as well as TV talk show interviews...political context (the Vietnam war, civil rights)...and Johnny Depp, Dennis Hopper & John Turturro impersonating them and reciting their poetry! A LOT of background for anyone interested in these guys - no women mentioned except for Burroughs' wife who he shot, and the press around that.
