For me, a brilliant movie which explores very human themes like lust, family bonds, politics, psychotherapy, and the hypocritical/paradoxical behavior of more than one character.
A very human dichotomy which is part of being imperfect.

The "bleeding heart" characters too have their blindspots. Why would a fireman bike to the scene of a fire, while his companions ride easy in the fire engine?

Another favorite scene: the fireman character and an ambitious back stabbing businessman lock arms and swing one another in a joyful twirl, grinning and gazing like contra dancers-- a moment of transcendent connection. Perhaps a prophecy of us one day transcending destructive partisan divides.

Great character depth, strange humor, and quirky non-linear plot. If you want a deep, yet light-hearted film, here's one for you.

For me, not worth the 24 minutes I tried to watch it.
