Released in August 1968 - "Funny Girl" was the chart-topping soundtrack album that went along with the highly successful, 1968 musical film of the same name.

Actress/Singer - Barbra Streisand (26 at the time) sang all of the songs that were principally a musical collaboration between lyricist, Bob Merrill, and composer, Jule Styne.

Out of this soundtrack's 14 songs - I'd say that "I'd Rather Be Blue", "People", and "My Man" are, without a doubt, the absolute best of the lot. (*Watch music-video*)
