You know, sometimes movies tends to go splat and you no longer care about watching them, especially if there"s sequels that tend to go on and on and on. After buying and watching part 3, i decided to stop watching any sequels that would follow. I was disapointed in the third installment not because of the story (silly me) and not just because of audio. I just wasn't feeling this franchise anymore. And neither was my friend. I loved 1 & 2 but 3 was dud. I completely skipped 4 ( the one in 3-D) since i was no longer interested. And then over the weekend, my friend informed me she bought 5. I had no interest, but i knew she wanted to come over to my house and watch it on my HOMETHEATER!!! And for some reason i thought she may have wanted some revenge since i made her watch another M.Night movie. You know the one where the devil is inside an elevator. So, i told her i would watch #5 on one condition. Some serious Buffalo Wings and Large fries!!!! I have 3 things to say about this movie. I LOVED IT!!!!!!! Not only were the killing scenes off the hook, but the sound was "sound freak approved!" My apartment was filled with sounds that seemed like the bridge was collapsing in my home. The destruction was very good! That bridge scene is one of my favorites of all the sequels. The visual effects were very, very, good. My friend freak out when the young lady fell off the bridge and landed on the tip of the sail connected to a small boat. My favorite was the guy who was impalled by the pipes that fell off the truck and then after the very long fall from the bridge, he hits one of the bridge platforms and splats!!!! DAMN!!! Death is a trip!!!! It one of the few times my friend ask me to rewind some scenes. My friend and i are giving this Final Destination #5, 4 and half stars. No, i didn't lose my mind. For very good visuals, and very good audio!!!!! Finger licking good Buffalo Wings (spicy if you like) with large fries, tato tats, or mashed patatoes with corn on the cob and Arizona Iced Tea.
